ALD Automotive in Bulgaria provides a car to be used by the Association to support its activities
SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria is the first civil rights organization in the country that provides direct care for children at risk. For the first time after the democratic changes the Association provides an alternative to institutional care for children - care in an SOS family.
SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria is part of the large international family SOS Children's Villages International, which since 1949 has cared for nearly 2,500,000 children in 138 countries around the world.
For more than a quarter of a century, SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria has been providing a family and a healthy environment for the development and growth of children deprived of parental care or at risk of losing the protection of their parents. The association offers family-type care and support and actively advocates for the rights of children and young people.
ALD Automotive's partnership with SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria is part of ALD's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, which includes various areas of support and cooperation with the community in Bulgaria. The programme is based on ALD's strategic guidelines and is tailored to local specificities and community needs.
ALD Automotive is developing an active Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Bulgaria, supporting various causes and organizations focused on the most vulnerable populations and serious societal issues and topics.
As part of its CSR strategy, ALD Automotive is at this stage focusing its efforts on various forms of support for children, women and the elderly. The company also joined the solidarity campaign for the population affected by the war in Ukraine.
ALD Automotive is constantly considering new initiatives and causes to support in order to help solve pressing problems in society every day with the resources at its disposal.
